It Operations Engineer

Key Role:

Design IT solutions to address business needs and define system scope and objectives based on user needs. Prepare systems designs and specifications and oversee implementation and programming. Solve system problems related to computer equipment capacity and limitations, processing speed, and output requirements. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the advancement of industry knowledge in the area of expertise. Solve the most complex technical problems of critical importance to the organization's technical direction. Serve as a recognized expert in the field, leading the development and implementation of key technologies for the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with IT operations, including monitoring and problem resolution for all tools, servers, storages, and network devices

-5+ years of experience with IA for operational testing, incident response, and computer network defense

-Knowledge of current information security trends, threats, and techniques

-Ability to design complex system architectures and develop detailed designs

-Ability to analyze and implement standard operating procedures and protocols

-Ability to develop technical solutions and new tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks

-TS/SCI clearance

-BS degree

-DoD 8570 IAM Level III Certification, including CISSP

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with managing IT efforts, including the supervision of substantial operations encompassing user systems, integration, and training in diverse operating environments

-Experience with DoD policies, procedures, and protocols

-Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
