As the Sales Oversight Analyst, you will be:

  1. Responsible for conducting ongoing oversight of our distribution partners.
  2. Optimizing robust oversight programs that consistently and effectively identify, assess and mitigate various risks.
  3. You carry out regular reviews of iptiQ's distribution partners, manage an audit trail, analyze results, and present findings to various key stakeholders.4.
  4. Report to iptiQ's Sales Oversight Manager on outcomes of oversight findings, advise on any measures taken and assist in ensuring compliance of the distribution network with regulations and internal policies.
  5. Assist with developing and implementing process controls and procedures capable of detecting and preventing deficiencies.
  6. Participate in distributor's sales calls and identify/analyze potential issues, initiate & coordinate wider audits if required.
  7.  Partner and collaborate with colleagues in Marketing, Legal, Operations, Risk Management and Compliance on various oversight activities and cross-functional project
  8. Access the impact of our distribution partner sales activities on the business and advise on and implement risk mitigation strategies that meet iptiQ business needs and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Contribute towards improving oversight operational efficiencies and become an important link between our distribution partners, our account managers and risk & compliance.

    About the Team:
    We are a relatively new business unit within Swiss Re, called iptiQ Americas, established to deliver innovative Life & Health insurance solutions sold to consumers. Our team delivers products, infrastructure and competences key to driving forward this new business, while working closely with our mother company. Our mission is to reduce the protection gap by simplifying life insurance and making it more accessible to people. iptiQ Americas, a new Life & Health insurance company, provides white-label life insurance propositions for a diverse range of distributors across a variety of distribution channels, and has ambitious growth plans over the next 5 years. As a Sales Oversight Analyst, you will have a unique opportunity to support the management and oversight of our distribution partners. You will be part of the Marketing & Sales team committed to drive sustainable and long-term success for our business.

    About you:  
  • College degree required
  • 5+ years related work experience in US L&H in one or more of the following; Compliance management, Conduct Risk management, Third-party risk management, or Sales Quality Assurance management required
  • Experience with life and health insurance agents and D2C sales call center environments is required
  • Specific knowledge of US L&H insurance regulatory framework (especially in relation to distribution matters) required
  • Prior knowledge and experience overseeing sales practices risk required
  • Specific knowledge of Medicare and senior market sales a plus.
  • Prior experience selling life and health products, and/or supervising sales is a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of individual life and health sales practices
  • Experience writing policies, processes and procedures at the enterprise level
  • Outstanding ability to use data to analyze and identify trends, risks and suggest risk mitigation
  • You have good organizational skills to maintain a high-quality due diligence function of distributors
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and be agile in delivering strong results
  • You are detail-oriented, have good work habits and adhere to applicable policies
  • You have proven problem identification and problem solution skills
  • Ability to obtain, judge and validate information. On that basis you reach sound conclusions
  • You know when to escalate a problem and keep management informed
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • You share information and communicate openly and with ease
  • You are a team player and build an atmosphere of co-operation within iptiQ and the wider Swiss Re
