C++ Trainer

Key Role:

Ensure unity of command in supporting a training readiness authority (TRA) by developing individual and collective counter-improvised device (C-IED) and asymmetric warfare (AW) training strategies and incorporating multiple assets. Coordinate garrison and state activities to improve C-IED and AW training facilities and ranges and employ training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations (TADSS). Assess, update, and deliver C-IED and AW training and associated products, coordinate with commanders, and assist units with planning virtual and live C-IED and AW training. Execute specialized C-IED and AW education and training for attack the network (AtN), electronic warfare (EW), biometrics, HME, site exploitation, and route clearance. Synchronize arrival, sustainment, and prioritization for standard and non-standard C-IED and AW equipment and training resources. Assist with planning virtual and live C-IED and AW training across multiple sites and provide continuity and expertise that enables awareness and the effective use of assets to support C-IED and AW training.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with the US Army

-4+ years of experience with leading training

-4+ years of experience in the C-IED field

-Experience with CIED training

-Experience with deployment in the MENA region

-Experience with biometrics

-Experience with EW

-Active Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

-Completion of a foundational instructor or facilitator course, including the US Army or sister service Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) Army Basic Instructor Course or Association for Talent Development (ATD) Master Course or ability to complete the Booz Allen Facilitator Training Course and Certification within 120 days of hire

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the Army National Guard

-Experience as an Observer/Controller (OC)

-Experience with conducting After Action Reviews (AAR)

-BA or BS degree
