Job Description

Step into an instrumental role. Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-pacedand friendlyfinancial planning office. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Assist in daily business operations.
Responsible for facilitating a proactive, timely, professional, and quality client experience. Manages all aspects of the client experience for new, existing, and prospective clients. Oversees the scheduling and execution of marketing activities from awareness through referral process. Manage social media activities, project manage and execute events.

Responsibilities

  • Receptionist for team office (greets clients, directs incoming calls)
  • Assists the firm in managing the client servicing process.
    • Scheduling all client meetings and meeting confirmations
    • Prepares client meeting packages
    • Handle non-trade related service requests
  • Provides centralized tracking of client data:
    • Ensures all client service meetings are delivered
    • Responsible for e-filing of client documentation
    • Tracks all communications and client data
  • Facilitates overall execution of marketing plan
  • Ensures all marketing activities are scheduled and executed
  • Leads social media activities from set-up to activity tracking
  • Leads client recognition activities (birthdays, retirements, referrals, etc.)
  • Manages office supplies

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and computer skills

  • Effective and efficient time management
  • Polite and clear phone manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • Able to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively
  • Able to independently work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adhere to rules and regulations as required by advisor and Ameriprise
  • Ability to support and provide guidance for compliance within the advisors practice
  • Positive attitude and sincere willingness to constantly learn and grow
Example Qualifications:
 
  • Associates or Bachelor degree
  • 1-5 years in client service or similar experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Direct experience with Salesforce contact management software is a plus
  • Working knowledge of social media (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
