Position Summary

This is a COE position residing inside the Citi Retail Services (CRS) Risk Management which provides proactive analytics to identify credit abuse, fraud, or synthetic identity behavior for all CRS portfolios including Sears, Macy's, Best Buy, The Home Depot, L.L. Bean and the other Retail and Fuel partnerships. The individual will work closely with policy teams to communicate key findings and rules and operation teams to ensure appropriate execution of strategies targeting this behavior, and ensure proper staffing and procedures.  Additionally, this individual will be responsible for multiple presentations to department heads and Senior Management and should be knowledgeable of Fair Lending and other regulations.

This role requires an individual with several years of credit risk management experience, strong statistical and data analysis skills, an ability to derive analytical solutions based on business knowledge and objective judgment of the balance between risk and reward.  The successful candidate will bring significant experience in managing and influencing change management from ideation to execution across multiple functional areas and proven effective project management skills for technical implementation as critical requirements to succeed in this role.  It is critical to demonstrate effective leadership managing initiatives across cross-functional units in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

·         BA/BS degree (Master's degree preferred) or 10+ years' experience in financial services industry with a heavy focus on credit cards and risk management
·         Strong interpersonal, communicative (verbal, written) and influencing skills.
·         Strong people leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire others
·         Pragmatic problem solver, forward thinker with independence of thought.
·         Ability to create support and buy-in across a wide range of stakeholders; create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies and decision makers.

·         Must be highly organized and able to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects and possess strong interpersonal, organizational and analytic skills
·         Strong working knowledge of Banking regulation and OCC guidance
·         Analyzes processes and identifies inherent risks
·         Management of key relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
