Job Purpose (Job Summary):
As a premier investment organization the Invesco Bank Loan Team offers a full product line of investment options to both retail and institutional investors. This opportunity with the IFI - Bank Loan Investment Support team will provide support to the portfolio management and investment team covering client servicing, compliance monitoring, internal reporting and product performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Responsible for the development and timely/accurate production of reporting requirements for internal/external clients (ie CPM’s, legal & compliance, CLO’s & Institutional clients and the investment team)
  • Ensure and maintain the data quality and integrity of the information that supports the business. Complete data mining from a variety of internal & external sources and analysis for Bank Loan clients
  • Liaise with clients and internal partners on product set-up and ongoing product administration to continually evaluate support needs, define business requirements, access options and propose solutions
  • Proactively assess processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the team while improving the oversight and control in key areas
  • Collaborate with team members on meeting reporting deliverables and liaise with internal partners to ensure timelines are met

Work Experience / Knowledge:

  • 3+ years work experience preferred
  • Experience in a reporting / product oversight role is preferrred
  • A solid understanding of the security/loan market and fund operations is a plus
  • Experience in the investment management space is a plus

Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Aptitude for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
  • Ability to conduct analysis and present data in a meaningful way
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word (strong excel skills is preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Wall Street Office is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and follow through on projects
  • Self-motivated, ability to multi-task and complete tasks upon assignment
  • Team Oriented Team player
  • Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people’s opinions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills

Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, business (Finance/Accounting) degree preferred

License/Registration/Certification: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • None

Working Conditions:

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures
  • Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment
  • Hours may include evenings and/or weekends if necessary
