Wealth Management Services General Manager
Wealth Management Digital Services, General Manager New 📅 83081 Requisition # 📅 2 days ago Post Date The General Manager is a member of the leadership team for Wealth Management Digital Services. This role provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that Digital Services has the proper administrative and reporting procedures and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and ensure financial strength and operational efficiency. The GM participates in development of strategic plans to increase profitability, mitigate financial risks and increase economic value. Drives cultural and operational change in the organization; provides leadership and direction through managers; is accountable for the performance and results of a division. The GM supports and executes on business plans and contributes to the development of the Digital Services strategy. Specific duties include:
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel in Digital Services
  • Work with the Chief Digital Officer and the Head of Digital Product Strategy and Execution to set up Digital Services operations end-to-end, overseeing key launch deadlines and budget as well as communicating effectively to all impacted stakeholders and partners
  • Oversee financial planning and produce reporting on Digital Services budget on ongoing basis
  • Develop and execute E2E talent management strategy, including internal & external recruiting, onboarding, performance management process etc.
  • Develop and manage formal training programs for all the roles within Digital Services
  • Lead and advise a set of cross-functional teams, including real estate, operations, HR, legal, and product
  • Collaborate with procurement, IT, and others to establish and manage vendor relationships / partnerships with Digital Services delivery teams
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management to the team of experts (e.g., talent mgmt., vendor mgmt), mirroring the adopted practices and core values of Digital Services
  • Support the Head of Digital Services in establishing people and process infrastructure for Digital Services, including governance, administration, talent management, financial planning etc.
  • Direct the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced critical thinking
  • Guided by organization functional strategy, has broad impact on the functional, divisional or regional results
  • Previous experience in a senior leadership role in Finance, Operations or General Management in a large institution, digital native company or a start-up
  • Strong leadership skills and the proven ability to drive organizational change
  • Experience managing finance, procurement and people operations
  • Masters/Graduate degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration
  • CPA, CFA or other professional certifications
  • Strong communication skills with ability to align the organization on complex decisions (e.g., reporting lines, compensation)
  • Ability to manage geographically distributed teams and to foster relationships with business unit and Company leadership teams
  • Active coach and mentor with goal to grow and maximize the team’s potential
  • Maintain high energy and be a passionate individual who inspires teammates to reach their maximum potential
