Responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of a high quality framework for risk analytics related to stress testing, capital quantification, and/or capital allocation framework for the Corporation. Provides high level solutions to complex issues in modeling and measuring risk, allocation of capital for performance measurement and other aspects of risk measurement. While the main focus is on operational risk analytics, projects in other risk analytics areas may be in scope. 1. Oversees and directs the development and maintenance of a high quality framework mainly for operational risk analytics related to stress testing, capital quantification, and/or capital allocation for the Corporation. 2. Responsible for managing the model development and maintenance and/or quantitative and qualitative analytical process for risk. 3. Evaluates and develops framework in relation to corporate objectives, prevailing regulatory guidance, and industry leading practices Provides strategic direction on development needs and processes to achieve desired future state. 4. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and business knowledge and functional expertise. 5. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of risk measurement activities. 6. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues. 7. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity. 8. Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or Senior Management. Acts as primary contact for risk analytics with regulators, Audit Services, and internal Risk Teams 9. Works with project management team to track development efforts and resolve issues 10. Provides input and support to budget management process Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Analytical and problem solving skills are required. In-depth functional and industry knowledge is required. Highly flexible and adaptable to change. Technical skills and systems knowledge (e.g. R, Python, Matlab, Power BI, Advanced Excel techniques and VBA programming) is required. Strong conceptual and technical knowledge of risk concepts and quantitative modeling and qualitative assessment techniques. Understanding of technology solutions for risk measurement and the Basel and CCAR frameworks. A College or University degree and relevant proven work experience is required. Advanced degree in related field (e.g. mathematics, statistics, economics) or equivalent career experience preferred. Related Industry qualification is preferred.
