The team consists of talented engineers, architects, and other experts who are committed to making technology one of Morningstars core strengths. Our technologists possess a wide range of skills and knowledge bases, we all view technology as a craft and care deeply about creating positive experiences for our customers. This team performs business-critical services enabling many different components of the business to deliver an amazing experience. We utilize public cloud to help push the boundaries of technology to build scalable and elegant solutions that help investors reach their financial goals.
The Role: The Cloud Services Infrastructure team is seeking a strong candidate to fill the Senior Infrastructure Engineer position in our Chicago office. The focus of the Senior Infrastructure Engineer is to implement key infrastructure components in Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Azure. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for collaboration and open communication. As a member of the team you will be responsible for driving the engineering strategy, evolving Morningstars public cloud implementations, and automating everything to minimize manual work.
