Senior Consultant
Seasoned fund accounting expert with extensive technical knowledge, business knowledge and functional expertise. Focus of the role is on execution of strategic direction of business activities and to provide analytical business support on special projects as needed. Carries out the most complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues. Consistently displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the rest of the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity. Highly flexible and adaptable to change. Responsible for leading projects that result in new fund accounting capability. Works with the business, technology, vendors, and clients to architect solutions. Gathers and analyzes competitive data, monitors markets serviced, and participates in sales presentations to promote fund administration. Acts as a subject matter expert in client discussions. Works with the business, technology, vendors, and clients to architect solutions. 8. Works closely with systems and fund administration areas to assess processing capabilities of changes on existing systems and operations and to determine the measures required for development and implementation. Knowledge/ Skills: Knowledge of fund accounting and fund administration operations, industry, and vendors usually acquired through related work experience is required to coordinate and lead the strategic direction and development. Planning, organizational, and leadership skills are necessary to oversee the project development. Technical understanding of the underlying data and how it is utilized cross-platform.
