2020 Guggenheim Investments Full Time Operations Analyst Program

About the Position

Guggenheim Investments is seeking bright, organized and detail-oriented undergrads to join its Operations team for the 2020 Full Time Operations Analyst Program. The Operations team provides vital business support for Guggenheims diverse and complex investment portfolio strategies. The teams responsibilities are vast including trade confirmation, security setup, custodian reconciliation, investment accounting, investment performance measurement and client reporting just to name a few.

Starting in June 2020, the program begins with a business introduction, which includes an overview of Guggenheim Investments and Operations. Candidates will be assigned to a specific Operations role. Opportunities across the entire department abound including, but not limited to: trade support, data integrity, pricing, corporate actions, reconciliation, performance, client reporting, investment accounting, and client onboarding.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist team members in all aspects of their operational projects and duties
  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of all aspects of critical portfolio management data across diverse asset classes
  • Ensure that all data produced by functional areas is accurate, consistent and timely and that appropriate service levels are met in all internal and external delivery requirements and any issues are resolved on a daily basis
  • Execute operational processes according to standards established by internal and external auditors, including SSAE 16 procedures and GIPS standards
  • Liaise with various departments to ensure tasks are completed timely and accurately
  • Assist in the coordination and collaboration with groups across the firm to centralize requests and streamline communication


  • Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program with the expected graduation date of January 2020 - June 2020
  • Desire to learn about Finance, Investment Management and Operations
  • Exemplary analytical skills and keen attention to detail
  • Strong problem solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Exceptional speaking, listening and writing skills
  • Team oriented with the ability to work well with diverse groups
  • Willing to roll up their sleeves to perform any and all responsibilities needed to ensure the success of the team
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft products with a particular emphasis on Excel
  • Must successfully pass a background check
  • Must be authorized to work permanently in the U.S.
