Job Description

The Nadex New Business team is responsible for guiding interested individuals new to Nadex through the on-boarding process, ensuring that they have the knowledge and support to fund and start trading. We provide support through telephone and email contact and on rare occasions face to face meetings and seminars.

The New Business role requires a strong focus on providing direction, guidance and support to convert leads to clients and we are looking for the very best people to join our team.

Success Measures/Outcomes:
  • Take people who have registered an interest in trading via our online platforms or websites and guide them through a process to help them understand if trading is right for them
  • Enable those who can trade to do so on our platforms with our products
  • Never offer investment advice and always remain compliant to relevant regulation (per location)
  • Contribute to building an effective team - actively sharing ideas and suggestions, developing the skills and abilities of others and creating an environment that is fun, vibrant and focused


Skills & Abilities

Essential
  • Establish credibility with a range of prospects and clients through impeccable product and trading platform knowledge, and by professionally guiding prospective clients through the on-boarding, education, and funding processes
  • Telephone and email sales skills done extraordinarily well - listening more, asking open questioning, probing, gathering information to develop a clear understanding of the needs and goals of our prospective clients, and tailoring potential solutions to meet their needs
  • Ability to explain complex financial products in a clear and concise manner, communicating the important aspects of trading that prospective clients need to understand
  • Quickly qualify leads while demonstrating empathy
  • Professionally take control of the sales process with a prospective client and become a trusted educator, guide and consultant
  • Deploy creative strategies to drive conversion within a controlled environment
  • Organise and manage a pipeline to drive conversion and optimise results (where conversion means taking a lead to be a funded account)
  • Drive to improve and learn through seeking, accepting and adapting to feedback


Experience

Essential
  • Experience of creating tailored retail client solutions from a range of options to meet individual needs (customer service and sales could be relevant)
  • Success in 1-2 previous roles (minimum of 6 months total experience for an Associate or 12 months for a Consultant) in sales within a target-driven environment - i.e. high volume, telephone sales, commission-driven reward
  • Experience in working with prospects that require creative strategies and appropriate planning to be successful
  • Experience in roles that require a mix of independent working and being part of a team
