Process new hires in Physical Security Access Control system w/ a photo ID access card, according to the established corporate policies & procedures. Confirm that all onboarding requests are approved & assign appropriate authorized security creds. Digitally fingerprint all new hires via a certified agency scanner & submit requests to the Illinois State Police in compliance to SOX's security background check policy. Manage temporary access card process & answer all inquiries in a timely efficient manner.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Fingerprint all new applicants on approved scanner and submit requests to Illinois State Police for processing.
  • Process all new hires with a physical security photo identification access card according to corporate policy and procedures.
  • Respond to all card access request inquires, manage the Physical Security Access site in Sharepoint and assign all approved card access credentials
  • Responsible for managing the temporary access card process for existing cardholders.
  • Program and issue all temporary cards in the Physical Security Access Control system and keep track of all documents and logs
  • Cross train in other job functions in the department and assist when needed.
Education & Experience:
  • Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze and summarize data into a report format.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point, & Outlook.
  • Experience working within stringent deadlines while prioritizing and performing multiple tasks to complete work.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in safeguarding confidential and sensitive information and analyze issues objectively and promptly.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
