PPCtypically invests $10-13 billion annually in privately placed senior andmezzanine financings with middle-market companies.

PGIM Private Capital isseeking an Investment Analyst to join their Chicago Corporate Finance Office.

The Investment Analyst roleis a three-year assignment that offers candidates the chance to build theiranalytical skills, expand their knowledge of private capital investments, and broadentheir knowledge of capital markets.  In this role, the Analystsupports PGIM Private Capital in managing and investing private placementsenior, mezzanine and equity investments in companies around the globe.  PGIM PrivateCapital s clients range from large multi-national public companies tosmaller privately held companies across broad industry classifications.

Working on a smalldedicated team, Analyst responsibilities include industry analysis, financialmodeling, comparable analysis, preparing discussion materials, portfoliomonitoring, marketing support, and special projects.  The Analyst role includes directinteraction with senior management.

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong record of academic achievement
  • Excellent analytical and accounting skills, including advanced knowledge of Excel.  
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, including debt and equity security terms as well as valuation methodologies
  • Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Business related experience preferred, but not required
  • Participation in the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) program
