C++ Quant Developer/Engineer/Programmer – HFT

My client, one of the world’s leading Proprietary Trading Firms is looking for talented C++ developers to join their company to work on high frequency trading platforms alongside some greenfield projects.

The successful candidate will work closely with a range of professionals including quantitative traders/developers, analysts and senior staff in order to design and develop cutting edge systems on a completely greenfield project to keep the business at the forefront of its field. The role will also include market data feeds, statistical trading and electronic execution components.

You will be working on the most sophisticated trading platforms in the world; systems built by some of the most successful development teams in Chicago, using the latest and best technology. For someone looking for that step up to define their career, this is that opportunity.

My client is looking for a track record of achievement both academically and professionally. The candidate ideal canidate will be from a top tier university or equivalent. A computer science degree would be preferred but similar degrees will be considered. In return one of the best salary packages on the market is available.

The successful candidate will have strong computer science fundamentals and possess in depth knowledge and experience of developing in C++ (Linux). You will ideally have desk aligned experience, typically someone from a derivative focused desk in a bank, prop firm or hedge fund or equivalent, BUT exceptional programmers from any background will be considered.
