PURPOSE & SCOPE:

 

The successful candidate will join BlackRock Solutions (BRS) as an member of the client service team supporting BlackRock Solutions' insurance clients. The Associate will work with members of the team to provide remote and on-site client service and to manage day-to-day client needs. Travel is required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Key responsibilities of the role include:
  • Provide on-site support (project and maintenance) for BlackRock Solutions' trading and risk management system (Aladdin)
  • Complete assigned project deliverables
  • Develop a strong working relationship with clients and project teams and be able to convey client requirements to BRS product teams as necessary
  • Frequent interaction with all groups within the BRS organization including Product teams, Analytics teams and the Aladdin Service Center
  • Manage projects in support of client initiatives, including business process redesign
  • Actively manage client communications, including Release Notes, Newsletters, and other notices

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Candidates for this role should meet the following requirements:
  • Education: four-year degree in a business or technical discipline
  • Technical: 5+  years of broad technical and/or financial services experience
  • Strong project management and coordination skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication (written and presentation) skills are essential
  • Strong computer skills and an aptitude for learning new systems
  • Enjoys a fast-paced, high-intensity environment; able to manage multiple priorities
  • Working understanding of fixed-income and derivative products a plus
  • Managerial: This position does not require management experience, but the candidate’s desire and aptitude to lead a team in the future is important
