Description
CME Group: Where Futures Are Made

CME Group (www.cmegroup.com) is the world's leading and most diverse derivatives marketplace. But who we are goes deeper than that. Here, you can impact markets worldwide. Transform industries. And build a career shaping tomorrow. We invest in your success and you own it, all while working alongside a team of leading experts who inspire you in ways big and small. Joining our company gives you the opportunity to make a difference in global financial markets every day, whether you work on our industry-leading technology and risk management services, our benchmark products or in a corporate services area that helps us serve our customers better. With 2,500 employees located around the world, we're small enough for you and your contributions to be known. But big enough for your ideas to make an impact. The pace is dynamic, the work is unlike any other firm in the business, and the possibilities are endless. Problem solvers, difference makers, trailblazers. Those are our people. And we're looking for more.

CME's Technology Summer Internship program offers students opportunities to learn more about CME's business, our role in the financial industry, and the types of technology that keep our markets running. Students will develop both their technical skills and expand their network with access to industry experts, while working alongside other talented and ambitious students with a passion for FinTech.

CME's Application Security intern will be involved in activities to help improve the security of applications and the organization's secure software development lifecycle.  The GIS Application Security internship is designed to strengthen an intern's knowledge in Application Security. You will learn about all aspects of application security testing, including: using some of the most common penetration testing tools, application penetration testing methodologies, OWASP Top 10 and the OWASP Testing Framework, and performing a full blackbox/greybox/whitebox application security penetration test.

This internship is designed to give you real world experience and develop skills to succeed within the technology and information security industry. As a GIS Application Security intern, you will work with a diverse team of highly skilled application security engineers. This is a great environment to start your information security career while providing value to CME Group and helping to ensure that our applications are designed and coded in a secure fashion.
