We are a high energy, innovative group building out the US aviation and aerospace business of BGC Insurance.  We are currently a team of 8 in the US but we will continue to add exceptional talent as the opportunity presents.  In partnership with our London colleagues, our focus is providing risk and insurance solutions for complex, high profile aviation and aerospace clients.  Our US headquarters is Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the department with all functions of daily operations including, but not limited to, general administrative support, answering calls, coordinating travel arrangements, processing expense reports, maintaining calendars, internal / external meetings planning, invoicing, monitoring expiration and client lists, facilitating certificates of insurance, and document preparation and editing
  • Track and facilitate each individual brokers licenses renewals in each State held as well as track and facilitate the entitys licenses renewals for reach state
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies placing and expediting orders for supplies

Qualifications:

  • Minimum five years of related administrative experience, within a professional services environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills are essential
  • Track record of professional communication skills fit for client-facing engagements
  • Great attention to detail
  • Proven proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Quick learner, ability to adapt to daily operations at a dynamic and growing firm
  • Self-starter
