Financial Administration Assoc Analyst -Intern
Associate Financial Reporting Analyst1

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Associate Financial Reporting Analyst1 prepares quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports for mutual funds in accordance with GAAP and SEC requirements. Additionally, Analysts analyze, monitor, and implement budgets for our clients, and ensure fund expenses are paid in a timely manner. Associate Analysts also:
  • Prepare and/or review financial statements and perform an initial review of SEC filings (e.g. N-Q, N-CSR, N-PORT, N-CEN, N-1A, 24F-2)
  • Review and/or update vendor information and payment instructions for fund expenses
  • Perform initial review of expense authorizations
  • Assist with audits and provide support as necessary
  • Prepare quarterly Board reports
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of mutual funds and financial markets
  • Respond timely to internal and external client inquiries
  • Complete training sessions to increase industry knowledge
  • Assist in fund year-end tax reporting
  • Work on special projects, other regulatory filings and ad hoc requests as assigned


Job Specifications:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business-related area or equivalent work experience
  • 0-2 years accounting or reporting experience in the registered investment company or financial services industry
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications required, especially Excel
