User Interface Design Manager

User Interface Design (UI) creates engaging and easy to use interface designs that determine how consumers will interact with various mediums including website, app, atm and/or kiosk and other digital products across the Enterprise. UI Design works closely with the product and development teams to ensure features are implemented as intended meeting quality expectations. Collaborates with UX, other designers, and development team members to ensure products look and operate as intended for clients/consumers. Copywriting is part of the UI that engages users and creates a reusable system for how a product communicates to the user. Copywriter ensures the product communicates to the user effectively, adheres to the Company brand tone of voice and is aligned with product strategy, addressing the right target audience. Job Level: Manages a team of UI professionals including objective setting and performance management. Motivate, rally, and coach contributor-level practitioners and provide feedback for members of the team. Demonstrates and teaches exceptional problem-solving skills through an ability to generate multiple solutions/creative concepts across all digital platforms. Partners with LOBs and CD to develop and drive the vision for the projects under their supervision. Fosters productive partnerships with internal clients at the appropriate level and knows when and how to push back professionally. Assign tasks and monitor progress. Knows when to engage Director level support and communicates with CD, internal clients and support teams in a timely and effective manner. Performs well in a team environment and fosters communication and cohesion between internal teams and functions. Manages and organizes personal and subset team workload and deadlines. Be a strong contributor to processes and methods, experiments with and pushes forward new design directions and methodologies. Play an active part in evaluating, recruiting, hiring and developing talent. Qualifications
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field. 10 years proven creative industry experience. Demonstrates leadership aptitude and 2-5 years managing a digital team. Comfortable and capable of managing several projects simultaneously. Expertise in Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience working on agile projects
