Then this is the team and role for you! The Learning & Development associate owns the design and drives the global operations to deliver BlackRock's signature employee cultural experience. This suite of resources and immersive experiences helps our employees explore our history, understand our culture and align their day-to-day role and personal aspirations with our mission, principles, purpose and strategy. Helping our colleagues discover how they can help craft our collective future, with case studies from the Harvard Business School as the basis of this learning. We call this experience "Knowing BlackRock Core" and it is part of the broad suite of learning opportunities and experiences know as the BlackRock Academies. We want an Associate who will bring their collective experiences and ideas to help evolve and grow the program for future impact. Compared to many big companies, our team enjoys more freedom to provide input, make decisions, and express their perspective. One of the most exciting aspects of this role is the opportunity to build relationships inside and outside of Learning & Development as it requires the Associate to build a broad and diverse network across the firm. The Associate works closely with colleagues in APAC and EMEA to ensure our efforts are aligned and standard methodologies are shared across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive program evolution, design and implementation strategy, and embed the culture of the firm

  • Provide skills to make employees successful

  • Evolve program agendas, craft presentation materials and facilitator guides

  • Manage and provide logistical support including virtual and in-person immersive experiences

  • Sourcing and planning global rollout, coordinating with local leaders and speakers, regional session logistics

  • Drive content curation on the dedicated learning experience platform channel to engage and engage and connect with employees across roles and functions globally


  • 4+ years of relevant experience with certification(s) in consultation, design, delivery and facilitation preferred

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Education, Organizational Development or Adult Learning Theory preferred

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex assignments with proven ability to assess priorities while delivering high quality results

  • Strong track record and portfolio of successfully designed and executed programs

  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with all levels of employees

  • Ability to scale content to meet the needs of the level of the learner
