The PMG group is seeking a Director, Business Strategy who will primarily focus on commercialization strategy for one of the firm's largest investment groups. This person will report to the Head of Business Strategy. The role is a dynamic and creative opportunity with high visibility and interaction with internal and external partners.
The role will be based onsite in our New York or Atlanta office. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Head of PMG - Business Strategy and business unit leaders to determine strategic objectives and identify opportunities to meet these goals including (but not limited to); market entry strategies, business prioritization, and assessing strategic investments
Evaluate business opportunities regionally and globally, including acquisitions, strategic investments, and partnerships / alliances
Support specific strategic initiatives and projects that promote the implementation of the long-term PMG and firmwide strategies
Communicate strategic priorities and execution plans across PMG via presentations, meetings, written communications, etc.
Work closely with the Finance and business unit leaders to provide periodic updates on business performance and strategy
Bachelor's or equivalent degree with strong record of academic achievement
9+ years of relevant work experience, most likely in asset management, investment banking, or consulting
Strategic and analytical thinker with excellent written and quantitative skills, as well as the ability to articulate and communicate complex investment concepts into simple terms
Ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and multiple demands
Ability to work independently and clearly articulate ideas, both written and oral, to internal and external audiences across levels of seniority
Ability to work optimally at all levels of an organization and build positive relationships with team members, managers, and senior executives in multiple offices
Strong proficiency and proven experience working in all Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
