CSIS Senior Investigations Program Manager
The CSIS Senior Investigations Program Mgr is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Contributes to standards around which others will operate. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the entire function. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas. Has responsibility for quality, planning, policy formulation within area of expertise, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area.

  • This job will drive results and accountability across all levels of the global team, while encouraging high standards and stressing the importance of continuous improvement
  • This role will provide assistance to a Global Program Manager and be responsible for tasks related to the execution of internal global program processes, management and the implementation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting across the functions
  • Review and develop investigations governance materials
  • Assess and review program framework elements for compliance and appropriate risk management
  • Create/maintain operational controls to ensure that regional partners comply with global investigation procedures
  • Program management for all policy and regulation related work-streams in support of the consistent, standardized and sound delivery of investigations across the firm
  • Perform analysis on the execution of program elements to identify any potential risks including quality assurance
  • Interface with regions to roll out and implement policy requirements
  • Problem-solve and explore/implement solutions to current processes and systems
  • Create project plans and track progress on team deliverables according to established deadlines and present for management review.
  • Represent the program office CSIS staff, functional partners and stakeholders to advance program objectives
  • Administrate coordination of optimization and re-engineering efforts, including analysis of sustainable improvements to processes, products and systems, ongoing progress monitoring and evaluation, periodic reporting and communications to stakeholders

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Evaluated/reviewed, developed and implemented investigations processes to effectively address process and technique changes as needed in their role
  • Demonstrated a clear understanding of investigation techniques and shares those insights appropriately with others
  • Has detailed understanding of all basic investigative concepts including report writing, cyber threat analysis, strategic forecasting, conducting lessons learned and regional expertise
  • Has experience with or understanding of potential global economic threats (e.g., cyber threats, global impact threats, foreign threats, etc.)
  • Experience in a specific investigative type or program with virtual global teams
  • Has lead and influenced people across an organization using sound judgment, successful execution of strategies; and with an understanding of how to operate effectively across diverse businesses/resources
  • Professional certifications (CPA, CAMS, CFE and CFF) or project management certifications
  • Domestic travel
  • Flexibility to work on call off hours/weekends during critical project phases, if necessary

  • Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
