Under general supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through experience and/or formal training to provide professional recruiting services. Identifies, recruits, interviews, and screens job candidates. Identifies sourcing techniques and conducts database searched for appropriate candidates. Identifies and places contractors and temporary workers across the firm. Regular contact with internal and external customers is required to obtain, clarify and provide facts and information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize recruitment tools and remote sourcing techniques to source top candidates.
Take responsibility for searching Internet job boards and niche sites for appropriate candidates.
Sources active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals.
Sources passive candidates through networking, cold calling, and Internet research.
Pre-screen for qualified applicants prior to submitting to senior recruiters for further consideration
Facilitate all steps associated with the identification and placement of qualified contractors and temporary workers.
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.
Manage and monitor preferred vendor list of agencies.
Meet with representatives of approved and non-approved vendors to establish areas of expertise and gather other appropriate information.
Maintains necessary files covering applications, interviews, and testing procedures along with tracking and reporting recruiting metrics.
May meet with department supervisors to discuss upcoming company needs.
Proactively researches and investigates innovative sourcing strategies.
Works with departments to ensure that positions are filled within budgetary guidelines.
Serves as a backup for scheduling and arranging travel accommodations for applicants coming from distant locations.
Checks credentials and references and schedules follow-up interviews with company supervisors.
Works with senior recruiters in establishing and maintaining relationships with hiring managers.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

MS Office applications, experience in Applicant Tracking Systems (e.g. Brassring, Vurv, Taleo etc.).
Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications to produce correspondence, reports, electronic communication, spreadsheets, and databases.
Interviewing, pre-assessment, and fundamental negotiation.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or 1-3 years experience in a recruitment, recruitment research, or staffing-related role.
Experience with recruitment databases and applicant tracking systems preferred
