: Associate Manager,Latin America Fund Operations (PGIM, Inc. Miami, FL and various andunanticipated locations nationally and internationally)
DUTIES: Service and Support PGIM Real Estate(PGIM) in the Accounting and Reporting of the Latin American Real EstateInvestments within their portfolios. Work closely with portfolio management,finance, legal, and transactions. Responsible for understanding accountingimplications of all acquisitions and sales transactions and ensuring the properexecution of accounting and all reporting for their assigned portfolios.Prepare, develop, and review timely and accurate quarterly and annual financialstatements for our Latin American investment funds. Provide institutionalinvestor base with accurate financial data related to our real estateinvestments in Latin America. Ensure financial statements are in compliancewith Mexican generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), US GAAP andInternational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Work with accountingprofessionals on deal abstracts that ensure a thorough understanding of therequired accounting and tax reporting necessary for the transactions,particularly as it relates to Mexican GAAP, US GAAP and IFRS. Prepare KeyPerformance Indicators in order to monitor the quality of work delivered by thethird party accounting providers in Latin America. Coordinate with Mexican taxauthorities as it relates to tax obligations for the Latin American InvestmentFunds. Perform quarterly and annual third party portfolio financial statementsreview for domestic and international funds. Review all third party portfoliofinancial statements prepared by other international accounting firms to ensurethey are prepared in conjunction with internal processes and protocols. Serveas gatekeeper for MRI, the property management and accounting informationsystem to consolidate financial information and identify potential financialrisk.
REQTS: Bachelors degree orforeign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related fieldplus three (3) years of experience in the position offered, Accounting Analyst,or a related position. Must have three (3) years of experience with: MexicanGAAP; US GAAP; Waterfalls; Preferred Return/Promote/Carried Interest; ManagementFees Calculation; Internal Rate of Return (IRR); Time-Weighted Returns; andEquity Multiple Calculation for Closed End Portfolios. Must have one (1) yearof experience with: International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS); Mexicanstandard business and banking laws as pertaining to Real Estate; KeyPerformance Indicators to measure quantitative and qualitative performance frompartners and property managers in Mexico; Mexican tax law compliance. Must befluent in Spanish (oral and written).
