Process Documentation and Training Analyst

SUMMARY: Process Documentation and Training Analyst conducts comprehensive needs analysis and designs training curricula which supports operational business unit strategic goals. Design and develop training modules and create operational procedures, including supporting forms/templates, quick reference guides, process flowcharts, diagrams, and checklists, for Bank Operations business units. Responsibilities also include review of high level processes, task analysis, and observation of end-user activity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned. Levels of Authority and Decision Making are indicated as follows:

 Build and maintain productive partnerships with first and mid-level managers, as well as the process improvement team to ensure procedures and training content are aligned with business initiatives.
 Document operational procedures utilizing existing documentation, process maps, department/employee observation, management collaboration, and/or customer feedback (internal/external).
 Consult with appropriate process owners, users, and subject matter experts to validate process flow and communicate best practices.
 Ensure guidelines are followed for updating procedure changes and modifications.
 Verify standardized templates are used to document all procedure development and updates.
 Ensure all procedure updates are approved by the appropriate process owners.
 Ensure established periodic review of procedures is performed by respective process owners.
 Develop training modules supporting defined process flow, compliance requirements, corporate policy, and performance expectations.
 Perform needs analysis to design overall training plans within a unit.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

 Bachelors Degree or equivalent
 Ability to analyze complex, large scale processes and simplify into defined steps and tasks.
 Knowledge of process improvement methods.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
 Minimum 5 years in policy and procedures documentation
 2+ years of experience designing/developing training modules and delivering training.
 Experience in developing eLearning training preferred
 2+ years experience within the banking industry preferred (mortgage servicing, commercial lending & servicing, and/or bank operations)
