Currently looking for 3 different consultants to work on projects from 9 months to at least a 12 months. With the heightened focus on regulatory reporting, our Global Finance Services group is setting up an assurance team for Global Regulatory Reporting function. This role involves working closely with various regulatory reporting team across the globe to identify, minimize and mitigate the data, system, prudential and reporting risks.
In this role you will be supporting regulatory reporting teams by providing independent assurance to the control framework implemented on the regulatory processes, identifying gaps in the control framework and processes, proposing recommendations and assisting regulatory reporting teams to implement proposed recommendations to mitigate risks identified and also supporting the global team lead in their quarterly sign off process.
The scope of control framework will include; Data: where you will ensure regulatory reporting, team are receiving both appropriate and fit-to-use data from upstream data sources, Systems: where you will ensure systems used in regulatory reporting are delivering expected results, and Prudential: ensuring appropriate application of regulatory requirements in reporting documentation of regulatory requirements, and assumptions/interactions built therein.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Postgraduate/professional accounting qualification, such as MBA Accounting/Finance, CA, CPA
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience in audit and/or operational risk preferably within an accounting or financial services environment at a senior level
- Experience in Operational Risk, Internal or External Audit in a financial institution or financial services firm
