ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ownership of regional forecast. This requires close liason with sales management and the use of our CRM system (Salesforce.com) to extract deal data and derive metrics on the forecast.
  • Forward looking regional analysis and insight. This requires the use of salesforce.com to estimate future performance, market opportunities, gaps, and pipeline health.
  • Driving pipeline data integrity and health. Proactively work with the region to ensure current quarter pipeline reflects the most recent status and future pipeline meets acceptable standards of quality
  • Sales headcount planning and territory optimization. Working with the regional sales director to optimally plan placement of sales headcount to pursue opportunity and achieve growth targets.
  • Deal Desk. Finastra implements an internal process named Deal Desk to qualify and maximize the value of opportunities. The Sales Analyst will sit on this desk both to follow up on actions and evaluate deal quality.
  • At Risk reporting. Finastra implements an internal process to evaluate our At Risk revenue. The Sales Analyst will engage in this process to assist in protecting Finastra revenue streams.
  • Working alongside global Regional Sales Analysts to develop best practice processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Experience of using Saleforce.com is desirable.
  • Advanced level of skill with Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Any experience with SalesWave would be an advantage.
  • Outstanding organizational and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, global environment.
  • Innovative thought processes / approach to work.
  • Strong Analytical skills with quantitative/financial approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Broad knowledge of how a sales organization operates.
  • Broad knowledge of financial institution software and operations.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years experience as a Sales Analyst (Solutions or Software) or a Data Analyst (Banking / Consulting / Financial Services).
  • Experience of working with Executives in previous roles

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors Degree preferred

OTHER

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Ability to receive, express, or exchange detailed information through oral and written communication.
  • Ability to see and operate a computer.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, bend, and lift and carry up to 25 lbs. of weight (laptop, projector, suitcase, etc.).
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work is performed in a general office environment.
  • Travel up to 25% required.
