A top-tier equity asset management firm is currently looking to hire a Communications Manager with 10+ years of internal / external communications experience within the asset management / financial services industry. The Communications Manager will be responsible for leading multimedia content development for internal and external audiences and tracking the outcomes and impact of communications through metrics and measurement. The Communications Manager will be based in Boca Raton, FL and is a member of the Marketing team – relocation costs will be covered.

Responsibilities

  • Create integrated communication plans that are aligned with the firm's culture strategy
  • Manage internal communication and outreach through multiple internal channels including but not limited to firmwide town halls, company intranet, closed-circuit TVs, and print
  • Provide appropriate clarity, consistency, and tone to all messages, linking to the firm’s mission, vision, core values, three pillars of purpose, and common language
  • Implement external press relations communications program in conjunction with press partners including editorial calendar, access to content, and proactive commentary opportunities
  • Establish, develop and update metrics for the communications function
  • Integrate corporate social media strategy to internal and external communications plans
  • Serve as a strategic communications partner to the firm’s CEO and leadership team
  • Support initiatives to develop internal spokespeople (ie, media training, blogging courses, social media training)
  • Plan and manage corporate internal and external events

Requirements

  • 10+ years of internal / external communications experience within the asset management / financial services industry
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office; familiarity with Smartsheet preferred
  • Strong communications strategy experience, including planning and delivering coordinated communications across multiple media
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to identify audiences and adjust the voice of the message accordingly
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
