The Innovation & Delivery Manager will join the Cards New Product Development & Innovation team as a key project delivery leader.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Identifying, gathering, and organizing consumer insights, internal innovation ideas, marketplace analyses and competitive trends to drive to new concepts
  • Leading and/or supporting end-to-end cross-functional projects to develop and launch new solutions/capabilities/products in the payments space
  • Evaluating and defining new value propositions as well as enhancements to existing value propositions for commercial viability
  • Building rigorous business cases including alternate go-to-market scenarios
  • Exploring and working with third parties to identify partnership, investment, or acquisition opportunities to drive innovation
  • Working cross-functionally across the business to develop innovation ideas and/or lead end-to-end innovation projects in partnership with business owners
Keys To Success in this Role Include:
  • Must take a customer-oriented, creative approach to drive to new ideas
  • Develop in-depth views of the external marketplace including competition, consumer trends, and third-party opportunities
  • Provide change management and strategic thought leadership to drive process and cultural evolution necessary for breakthrough innovation
  • Ability to liaise with technology teams to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Collaborate effectively across the organization to understand needs, ensure executable strategies, and successfully drive results


Qualifications

  • 7+ years relevant experience with a minimum of 4 years in Credit Cards/Payments Industry, preferably with direct experience in end-to-end product development
  • Ability to drive results cross-functionally in a matrix environment
  • Strategic thought leadership including developing strategies from scratch/in a "white-space" environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Direct experience with financial analyses including financial reporting, data analyses, and business case development
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation and change with a focus on the customer
  • Ability to create a strong network of relationships among peers, internal partners, external constituencies, decision makers, and stakeholders
  • Ability to structure and break down complex problems to drive to results
  • Strong creativity, self-motivated, with a passion to transform the business
  • Knowledge of Multi Relationship Customer and cross sell of bundled bank strategies and development an advantage
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
