Overall purpose of role The Financial Control Analyst position will support the financial control processes required for legal entity reporting including balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close and financial reporting. This position's responsibility is to provide timely, accurate and relevant financial information to Management and other customers by using highly controlled, automated and effective processes.

Your Role

  • Responsible for preparing and/or reviewing required journal entries and schedules within the required time frame including highly complex transactions for both USGAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
  • Responsible for preparing and/or reviewing account reconciliations to ensure balance sheet accounts are properly reconciled and issues are resolved on a timely basis.
  • Responsible for the documentation and maintenance of procedures covering the Financial Control process.
  • Preparation of required monthly/quarterly financial reporting for all end users including but not limited to parent company, management, and external users.
  • Continuously strive for process improvements which will provide efficiencies and enhancements to the overall control environment.
  • Maintain effective supporting documentation for all financial reporting requirements as well as procedure documentation.
  • Prepare responses to requests from internal and external auditors and regulators including the proper support and analysis.
  • Complete ad hoc requests from members within the Finance department and other departments as needed.

Risk and Control Objective
