Dalio Philanthropies Overview:

Dalio Philanthropies (DP) is the philanthropic arm of the Dalio Family Office, enabling the Dalio family to effect positive change in the world. The family's diverse philanthropic passions include: Connecticut public education, ocean exploration and awareness, environmental protection, investing in technology access and education, meditation, mental health and wellness, financial inclusion, child welfare and capacity building in China, and community and the arts, among other things.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Community Manager to join our growing team at Dalio Philanthropies. In this role, you will support the day to day operations of the communications function including coordination, prioritization, and execution of multiple projects. You will help manage our social channels, broaden our media presence, and reinforce the Dalio Philanthropies mission and brand. This role will afford broad exposure to the highest priority initiatives for the organization. You'll report into to the Communications Coordinator and Director of Strategy and Operations and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Day-to-day responsibilities would include a combination of the following:
  • Manage enterprise social media accounts including monitoring, posting, reporting
  • Keep track of related channels and accounts including calendaring and posting
  • Support the Communications Coordinator on various communications related projects and logistics
  • Maintain the Dalio Philanthropies website
  • Collect and archive media and press related to the organization

  • Strong competencies related to marketing and content creation

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite is a plus
  • Savvy with various social media platforms especially Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook/Instagram
