What you'll do

The primary responsibility for this role will be to provide end user support to Point72's Stamford office. In this role you will support the infrastructure at Point72 in compliance with the established Point72 technology standards. You will also:
  • Use your analytical skills to solve technical issues for a wide variety of users from Portfolio Managers and Analysts to Senior Executives
  • Bring an in-depth knowledge of mobile device platforms to the Firm to provide best in class support
  • Demonstrate exceptional PC and peripheral troubleshooting and break /fix skills
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and provide superb customer relationship skills
  • Establish and maintain service level relationships with local and off-site technology service providers
  • Perform daily AM and PM system checks as per documented procedures and distribution of status reports
  • Be available to provide rotational, 24x7 on-call support
  • Be flexible and available for domestic and international travel
What's required
You should be inquisitive and have a desire to test your limits with new technology. You should also possess the following attributes:
  • 1-4 years of experience in a Desktop or Deskside Support role
  • Expereince working in BOTH a phone support and deskside support role
  • Attention to detail and ability to remember, record, and relay both routine and mission critical information on a consistent basis
  • Ability to interact with users across all business units
  • Proven track record of being reliable and punctual
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced knowledge in the following disciplines is preferred:
    • Active Directory Administration
    • Windows 10/Office 365
    • Landdesk
    • Remote desktop connection
    • Cisco phones
    • BT Turrets
    • A/V set up experience (WebX, Skype, Cisco A/V rooms)
    • MarketData apps experience is a strong plus
    • Individual trouble shooting of end user issues
