Pricing Actuarial Analyst - Commercial Lines

A leading global insurance company is looking to add a Pricing Actuarial Analyst that supports insurtech initiatives to their growing Commercial Lines Actuarial Team, specifically focusing on Commercial Property and Professional Liability lines. This candidate will gain experience in the development and testing of rating assigned lines of business. Responsibilities of Pricing Actuarial Analyst

-Liaise with Senior Actuarial Management on a daily basis

-Utilize stochastic calculus to measure strategy constraints

-Develop pricing models for Commercial Property and Professional Liability insurance products

-Liaise with the underwriting team on market implementation strategies for new products

-Utilize Python and R, and SQL to construct predictive models


Requirements of Pricing Actuarial Analyst

-1-5 actuarial exams progress towards ACAS designation

-1-5 years of previous experience or knowledge of P&C Actuarial industry experience preferred

-Minimum Bachelor's Degree in actuarial science or mathematics

-Must have strong oral and communication skills

-Experience working with Python or R, and SQL preferred
