Technical Operations Design Expert (Greenwich, CT) (multiple positions).

Job Description and Responsibilities

Provides in-depth analysis of software, hardware and network communications systems to uncover weaknesses, increase capacity and decrease latency across a Worldwide Enterprise Environment. Coordinate the activities of Developers, Network and System Admins to build and maintain tools and systems monitoring hosts, network elements and operating systems to diagnose existing design, speed and compatibility issues. Consult with same on new hardware and system designs to make effective use of bandwidth and technology. Recommend and suggest Network and Hardware optimization techniques and strategies to improve performance and reliability. Participate in capacity planning initiatives to further scale existing designs.

Qualifications

Masters of Science or foreign equivalent in a Telecommunications, Engineering or related degree.
Three (3) years experience in a Networking or Technical Operations related position. Three (3) years experience with Linux Operating Systems. Three (3) years experience with Shell, Perl, and Java Programming. Three (3) years experience with Design or Operation of Communication Networks.
