Associate, Global Energy and Power Infrastructure
Description About this role
This is an opportunity to join the Global Energy & Power Infrastructure Fund investment team as an Associate with responsibility for financial modeling, due diligence, execution, and monitoring of existing portfolio companies. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Modeling: developing, utilizing, and analyzing financial models in order to evaluate investment opportunities
Due Diligence and Execution: working with the team to assess and execute new investments. This will include conducting due diligence, financial review, preparation of presentation materials for investment committee etc.
Market research: Performing market research, including research on potential investments, industries, competitors, etc.
Portfolio Monitoring: assist in the monitoring of portfolio companies including analysis of corporate development, add-on, and financing opportunities, analyzing budgets, interacting with key members of management, and positioning business to be prepared for exit Development Value:
Candidates will gain deep full-cycle experience in infrastructure investing through the evaluation of new investments as well as all aspects of running a business through the monitoring of existing portfolio companies Skills/Qualifications:
2+ years of previous investment banking and/or principal private equity or infrastructure investing experience
A keen interest in energy infrastructure
Demonstrable financial modeling and evaluation skills
Strong presentation skills as well as strong oral and written communications skills.
