We'll be looking for you to define, design, and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software systems throughout all phases of the software development process. You will also assess business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards. You will be responsible for applying Agile methodologies daily and following Definition of Done (DoD) process for better quality by maintaining 80% unit test coverage and 70% integration test coverage. Lastly, you will Interface and collaborate with other engineers in geographically distributed development centers and estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out applications with cross-functional impacts.
For such a detail-driven and technical role, you will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering with at least 6 years of professional experience or a Master's degree with at least 4 years of professional experience. You will have an AWS Architect certification, or related Cloud certification, with specialization in data is a plus. You will have demonstrated capabilities in assessing business needs while providing creative and effective solutions in conformance to emerging technology standards. You must possess extensive experience in modern programming languages (for example, Java/C++, Python) and design patterns data structures, algorithms, OOPs, and OOA/D. This role will also require you to have demonstrated experience with Agile development methodologies with Test Driven Development (TDD) and CI (Continuous Integration)/CD (Continuous Delivery). Lastly, you must have intermediate-level experience in developing and delivering Big Data related services on AWS or Google cloud as well as experience with Java, Scala, or Python programming languages, Cloud-based Databases, Data Integration and BI Tools.
