In this position, you will be responsible for assessing, executing and monitoring private equity investments as part of Partners Group's co-investment and fund investment strategy. Your tasks will include:



  • Perform quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective primary fund commitments; contribute towards portfolio planning
  • Source, review, and execute co-investments alongside General Partners, and joint-lead investments in collaboration with Partners Group’s Private Equity Direct Investment team
  • Source and evaluate the purchase of existing LP commitments from the secondary market
  • Take responsibility for key account relationship management, managing a sub-set of Partners Group’s core General Partner relationships
  • Initiate and participate in calls and meetings with current and prospective investment managers
  • Assume responsibility for selected managers; maintain, develop and extend market overview and relationships with a view to source investment opportunities
  • Assume a leadership role of team activities as Partners Group's builds a hub office location in Denver, CO
  • Conduct various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts


What we expect

  • Top academic credentials (Master/MBA/CFA preferred), with a coursework emphasis on Business Administration, Accounting, Finance and/or Mathematics
  • 6-10 years of work experience in the private equity market with a leading player
  • Proven experience executing primary fund investments, as well as direct investments (co-investment or lead investment)
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Word and Excel (modeling skills required) and the ability to conduct primary and secondary research
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Additional languages desirable
  • Self-starter on assignments/projects and demonstrate initiative
  • Able to complete projects timely and accurately; be able to multi-task
  • Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
