IT Service Management Architect

JobDescription :
ITSM Architect
The IT Service Management Architect is responsible for designing solutions through our tools to enable enterprise wide Service Management and Reporting capabilities. They will be interacting with the IT Service Management Development team to recommend scalable solutions that meet the needs of our business lines. This role incorporates a consultant oriented approach working with a team of developers and configuration specialists for the IT Service Management tools. The person filling this role is expected to have a deep technical understanding of the tools used for IT Service Management and Asset Management.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Define the architecture of the ITSM products and architectural needs for integrations with other products
  • Establish and maintain standards to be followed during the development lifecycle for our IT Service Management Tools
  • Provide guidance to the Development team to ensure adherence to the above standards
  • Work with the Info Security team to ensure security standards are consistently adhered to
  • Serve as the architectural lead in projects for migrations from existing tools to our strategic tool set
Qualifications:
  • 10 years relevant technology architecture experience
  • 3 years' experience in an architectural role focused on the Service Now platform
  • Experience with ServiceNow's mobile client highly desirable
  • ITIL certification and/or experience operating in an ITIL environment
  • Experience with other IT Service Management tools highly desirable
  • Experience leading integrations with other tool sets to ServiceNow
  • Knowledge of infrastructure and workplace discovery tools
  • Knowledge of financial tools including Peoplesoft and/Ariba a plus
  • Experience leading virtual teams
  • Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize workload
Education:
  • Bachelors degree required
