Array.io is seeking an ambitious and driven individual to join the team as an Accounting Manager.

We are seeking an ambitious and driven individual to join our team as an Accounting Manager. Candidates must be bright, highly organized, resourceful, and extremely detail-oriented. The ideal candidate has experience establishing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting financial information for the company. Also, will be responsible for tracking, monitoring and evaluating the day to day accounting task and activities. This is a full-time remote position in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Manage quickbooks enterprise systems, including journal entries, invoicing, customer and vendor details.
  • Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial statements according to GAAP.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reporting for management as needed.
  • Experience in managing cross-border (international) transfer pricing between entities.
  • Records numerical and financial data to produce financial records.
  • Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Ensures financial data is entered correctly and accurately.
  • Enters journal entries to debit and credit the company's accounts.
  • Generates accounting and audit reports for cash receipts, accounts payable and receivable, expenditures, and profits and losses.
  • Reconciles and reports differences or issues found in financial records.
  • Oversees the preparation of periodic financial statements and the corporate annual report.
  • Responsible for revenue and expenditure variance analysis.
  • Responsible for capital asset reconciliation.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and procedures.
  • Complies with local, state, and federal government requirements.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Oversees Accounting operations, which include financial accounting, accounts payable, and payroll.
  • Recruits and hires Accounting staff and conducts performance evaluations.
  • Implements training for new hires and identifies training opportunities for current staff.
  • Oversees the system of internal controls over Accounting functions to minimize risk.
  • Identifies and recommends updates to accounting processes and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • 6+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant designation highly preferred, but not required.
  • Accounting management experience.
  • Experience supervising accounting staff.
  • Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivables.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software preferred.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Mastery of accounting and tax preparation software.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial data analysis.
  • Ability to use accounting software to record, store, and analyze financial data.
  • Ability to efficiently operate a 10-key calculator or equivalent and other related office equipment.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software preferred.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
