JobDescription :
Sr. Software Engineer

Responsibilities:
- As part of global team of engineers/developers, deliver continuous high reliability to our technology services.
- Strong focus towards developing permanent fixes to issues and heavy automation of manual tasks.
- Become an integral part of a high performing global network of engineers/developers working from Centennial, New York, London, Singapore and India to help ensure 24x7 reliability.
- Troubleshoot application related issues and work with infrastructure team to triage Major Incidents.
- Provide technical guidance to junior level resources.
- Experience in analyzing/researching alternative solutions and developing/implementing recommendations accordingly
- Work/support business users to understand issues, develop root cause analysis, and work with the team for the development of enhancements/fixes

Technical Qualifications:
• 5+ years agile application development experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role
• Hands on experience with Java, Unix/Linux
• Strong Hands on experience on .NET Framework 4.5, ASP.Net 4.5, C# 5.0.
• Oracle PL SQL (reports, packages, stored procedures), Toad (or similar)
• Sound knowledge of SQL Server (2012, 2014), SOAP, REST services.
• Liferay or equivalent Portal experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related
• Web Services, Tomcat, Apache, WebLogic
• AWS Associate Level Certification required.
• Experience with automation and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc)
• Experience with continuous deployment / continuous delivery tools like Git, GitHub, Stash, SVN, Jenkins, Nexus, Maven, Gradle, MSBuild and Artifactory, etc
• Extensive experience as Cloud Solutions Architect with AWS (AWS Cloud Formation, AWS EC2, S3, VPC, Route Table, Internet gateway, NAT gateway, EBS,RDS etc.)
• Strong experience in migrating on premise applications to AWS Cloud.
• Experience using container and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong experience in developing web-based solutions in traditional and Agile/Scrum team environments
• Sound knowledge of OOPS, Design Principles.
• Exposure to Application Design, Test Driven Development.

• Flexibility to work 8 hour shifts 5 days a week to cover 7am - 7pm MST including occasional weekend rotation
