The Product Owner develops and communicates the product's vision to be fulfilled by their agile team. The Product Owner is the team's key stakeholder who serves as proxy for the customer - both internal and external. The Product Owner represents the voice of stakeholders by maintaining and prioritizing a product backlog to ensure that development teams are working on stories that maximize business value and meet defined success criteria. The ideal candidate will be one with prior experience as a product owner, who is able to build strong relationships with our clients, can communicate clear and actionable requirements, has a solid financial background, and demonstrates true passion for the role. What we're looking for
- Collaborate with stakeholders (clients, business partners, development teams) to ensure goals are clear and aligned to business objectives
- Provide vision and serve as a champion of customer perspectives to the scrum team
- Translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories for scrum teams to implement
- Plan, prioritize, and maintain a healthy product backlog that delivers maximum value for the customer while adhering to company strategy
- Participate in the scrum ceremonies, evaluate project/product progress, and communicate status & risks appropriately
- Drive project/product success by delivering client satisfaction by the deadline within the allocated budget
Where we're going
- Minimum 7 years experience in Scrum and Agile
- Minimum 7 years Product Owner experience working in SAAS environment
- Knowledge of financial services and regulatory industry
- Proven problem-solving and analytic skills
- Thorough understanding of how to interpret business and technical needs and translate them into themes, epics and user stories
- In-depth understanding of Agile process and principles
- Outstanding communication, presentation, leadership, and relationship building skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience in the Financial, Software, and/or Digital sectors strongly preferred

- For work locations in the state of Colorado, the anticipated base salary range for this role would be between $91,025 and $120,000. Compensation will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the applicant.
