    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:


    Under the direction of the Director of Branch Management and Oversight, the Director, Regional Manager will work with Branch Managers and teams to improve profitability, customer experience and operational controls in the region.

    Key Responsibilities:
    The essential functions of the job include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

    Financial Performance:

    • Improves overall financial performance in the regional branches through effective coaching in the region's key performance indicators, operational controls and defined expense management
    • Meets and exceeds goals as defined by Retail Banking Group senior leadership

    Leadership:

    • Creates a clear and motivational message for team in all communications
    • Recruits, retains and develops top talent
    • Takes ownership of turnover in all job families
    • Shares and drives accountability with all performance levels
    • Collaborates effectively across business lines

    Customer experience:

    Consistently leads, manages and coaches leadership team and region team to execute to our EmpowerU performance culture

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Minimum 10+ years of banking experience required
    • Minimum 5 years of experience managing a sales team or teams required
    • Minimum 3 years of regional management experience preferred
    • Must have knowledge of business development techniques, sales development and planning
    • Must have previous sales experience
    • Must be able to assess risk levels of banking relationships in relation to economic, financial and environmental factors
    • Must have comprehensive knowledge of branch banking and operational functions, bank services and products and related policies and procedures
    • Must demonstrate strong organization and prioritization skills

    Bachelor's Degree preferred
