About the Position

Guggenheim Investments is seeking an exceptional candidate to join its Investment Management function. Reporting to the Managing Director of Real Estate Portfolio Management, this Client Reporting Analyst would join a dynamic team responsible for overseeing the production, review, approval, distribution and retention of Structured Real Estate client reports. The Client Reporting Analyst will be responsible for the coordination of client deliverables and client ad-hoc requests. The primary focus will be to ensure all client reporting deliverables and commitments are being met timely and delivered accurately.

The position is located in Santa Monica, CA.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop a comprehensive knowledge of the Structured Real Estate Groups data, portfolio and client reporting
  • Source and manipulate data from different sources to provide analysis needed for portfolio and client reporting
  • Independently produce regular and ad hoc client and portfolio reporting using MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Collaborate with Structured Real Estate team on new and existing client reporting requirements and requests
  • Design data management and reporting tools and assist with initiatives that automate reporting
  • Maintain quality control, ensuring on-time delivery and report accuracy
  • Assist with financial analysis related to client reporting such as risk-based capital ratings

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience working within financial services analytics.
  • Bachelors Degree required.
  • Client service experience preferred with acute attention to detail.
  • Adept at operating in high-volume, deadline-driven environments and thrive in an entrepreneurial and rapidly evolving atmosphere.
  • Problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to take initiative.
  • Experience in gathering, organizing and reporting various information and data.
  • Expertise in MS Excel and PowerPoint required, with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Charts, Graphs).
