Manager, Advisory - Risk Assurance (Multiple Positions), Santa Clara, CA.
Identify and triage security risk and license compliance risk using Software Composition Analysis and Open Source Scanning tools. Deliver code assessment services to customers and determine compliance with third party licensing and encryption policies. Provide high quality professional day-to-day execution of software asset management in order to analyze, summarize and conduct research on complex license agreements to understand commercial software licensing. Draft reports for management review and document review results in work papers. Demonstrate in-depth technical knowledge. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.
WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Reviewing commercial software agreements for compliance, including compliance with open source software, third party licensing, open source approval processes, or license compliance governance; Open source analysis tools, including Flexera's FlexNet Code Insight and FlexNet Manager Suite; Data analysis tools, including Excel, Access and SQL; and Database technologies, including MSSQL and MySQL. Travel up to 10% required. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.
