Senior Business Administration Analyst - Sales Division

How would you describe the primary role of the Senior Business Administration Analyst?

The Senior Business Admin. Analyst's primary role will be to lead cross-functional business planning, management reporting and profitability projects on behalf of our Sales and Strategic Relationships Team (SRT). The position is also responsible for executive communication and execution of projects to support the Sales, SRT and Client Analytics groups. The Senior Business Admin. Analyst will also guide Territory Coordinators in their responsibilities of supporting and scheduling for the sales team.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior Business Administration Analyst?

  • Work with sales executives and provide project management support to execute key division business strategies and manage other initiatives including fiscal year sales and marketing goals, our sales process, and a 'firm and fund priorities grid' that is used to prioritize and allocate resources of various departments. Will drive projects to ensure all areas are meeting deadlines.
  • Prepare business planning agendas and updates, written communications and other analysis as requested by executives for department, sales, marketing, and SRT meetings.
  • Summarize industry, firm, product data to support research on drivers of industry growth and other trends by working with our Client Analytics team.
  • Develop executive communications and PowerPoint presentations for external and internal audiences to be used at sales management meetings, all sales meetings, and firm meetings.
  • Guide Territory Coordinators in using client analytics data to customize messages to our clients to improve contact rate. Develop a program and library for emailable content for our TCs to use and send on behalf of our Sr Advisor Consultants and Advisor Consultants. Ensures that the message is consistent across all territories.
  • Sales/SRT/Client Analytics meeting development, coordination and communication support, including agendas, meeting materials preparation, meeting minutes and action items.
  • Coordinate travel plans for department leaders and prepare expense reports.
  • Attend meetings such as the mid-year meeting and departmental meetings to coordinate the flow of the meeting, capture feedback, and ensure action items are followed up on. Travel to other FTI offices may be required.

What ideal qualifications would help someone to be successful?
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Marketing preferred
  • 2+ years administrative and/or business administration experience preferred
  • Project coordination, organization, and execution experience
  • Sales and/or marketing experience preferred
