The Relationship Management rolesare responsible for acquiring, orchestrating, and growing entire client andecosystem relationships; deepening relationships within the C-Suite; consultingon, and cross-selling, the entire SVB platform (i.e. Treasury management toDebt financing to the Private Bank, etc.) to address client business andpersonal needs; orchestrating cross-functional SVB teams to optimize the clientexperience; and building real relationships to differentiate SVB with all keyinfluencers in the market. Core responsibilities include new businessdevelopment and expansion of existing relationships, as well as, originating,advising on, and negotiating financing solutions for SVB Commercial Bank clients.
Manage a portfolio of clientrelationships within the Consumersoftware sector. Responsibility for ensuringthose clients receive a world class relationship management experience withSVB. Ability to develop an understanding of the client's needs and crossselling SVB's suite of products and services at the appropriate points in thelifecycle of the business. Interacts with clients, referrals andprospects independently. Highly skilled relationship builder, negotiator,and financial engineer.
Highly effective person with peopleand relationships. Ability to build and maintain a network of businessrelationships, including the executive management of clients, prospects, andother referral sources. Understanding of SVB's platform of products and services. Expertise in developing and closing cross sell opportunities withinassigned portfolio. Strong understanding of the business trends impactingthe market they cover. Represents SVB at events in market.
5+ years of related experience. Experienceand network in the tech startup ecosystem. Strong relationship management,negotiation, and marketing skills. Good closing skills. Strong focus andownership on the overall client experience. Knowledge of bankoperations and products a plus. Bachelors degree or equivalent relatedexperience.
