Investment Banking Associate – Financial Services Group – Depositories, San Francisco, CA

Piper Sandler is the most prolific advisor to depositories for M&A and capital raising,  We’ve completed more than 250 Depository M&A transactions since 2016 with an aggregate deal value of approximately $67 billion and 281 debt capital markets issuances since 2014 with over $17 billion raised for our clients.

We are currently looking for an experienced Investment Banking Associate to join the San Francisco Depositories team.   Our Associates work closely with senior bankers to make a real impact on our clients’ businesses. On a day-to-day basis our associates:

• Assist with all aspects of originating and executing M&A and Capital Raising transactions including:
  • Extensive financial modeling and analysis
  • Company valuation
  • Corporate and industry research
  • Identification of business development opportunities
  • Due Diligence
  • Preparation of marketing and presentation materials
• Work closely with senior bankers
• Take responsibility for day to day deal activities
• Interact with clients
