Credit Karma has grown significantly through the years: we've added more than 70 million members in the last five years alone and now have more than 1,000 employees across our offices in San Francisco, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Leeds, London and soon Oakland. We're looking for an FP&A senior analyst to lead financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities supporting the Recommendations business unit (Recs BU). You will operate as a financial partner to the General Manager and use your financial acumen and understanding of key metrics to inform business decisions on a daily basis. Your work will be instrumental in guiding the understanding of the business by supplying detailed forecasts and complex analyses. Building deep partnerships with Analytics, Marketing, Data, BizOps and Product will be crucial for success in this role. You should have a high sense of ownership, a natural interest in continuously improving the way the business is viewed and a strong ability to communicate with non-financially minded peers. What You'll Do:
    • Lead strategic and financial planning processes (e.g., monthly business reviews, forecasts, annual budget) for the business unit that drives Credit Karma's recommendation system
    • Develop thoughtful forecasts and analyses to create actionable insights and steer decision making
    • Create frameworks for evaluating tradeoffs between short term and long term revenue opportunities
    • Help establish and direct KPIs to measure financial performance, providing insight into any trends or shifts in the business
    • Build trusted relationships with key business partners across numerous functions
    • Identify and quantify financial/operational risks and opportunities to the business
    • Work to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting processes and methodologies
    • Drive ad-hoc projects as necessary
What We Expect:
    • Bachelors degree in Math, Economics, Finance, Business or other related field
    • 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience (experience in high growth companies or investment banking preferred)
    • Experience navigating problems with a keen analytical eye and creative problem solving skills
    • A team player with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders and use sound business judgment
    • Self-starter, intellectually curious and a fast learner
    • Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills
    • Ability to build and manage complex financial models for forecasting and analysis
    • Ability to maintain high performance under tight deadlines and prioritize workload
    • Ability to work independently and self-motivate in a fast-paced and rapidly-changing environment
