Job Description:  

Newmark Knight Frank Global Corporate Services (GCS) is the premier operations and real estate consulting firm for companies seeking an integrated methodology to meet their business objectives. NKF GCS combines the unique skill sets and technology of a management and operations consulting firm with real estate advisory and CRE delivery services. Implementing these recommendations is part of a centralized approach.

Newmark Knight Frank is seeking a Client Solutions Manager in San Francisco. This role will lead marketing, creative solutions and business development teams in the region. This position plays a senior, key, strategic role within GCS and requires a deep understanding of clients in commercial and/or public markets. The Client Solutions Manager will work to improve the organizations market position to achieve financial growth. The role will define long-term organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals all while maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions. It is this their responsibility to collaborate and, at times, lead the internal operations team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue.

Job Description:
  • Develop and maintain client and supplier relationships
  • Create sales opportunities for Newmark Knight Frank and service lines
  • Drive the client relationship and business development activities of the company across the geography 
  • Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging network
  • Oversee the creation of a wide variety of customized, professional-quality marketing materials for new pursuits (most commonly written proposals, RFP responses, and graphical presentations) 
  • Mentor and coaches team members to further develop competencies
  • Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values

Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors and Masters degree in Business Administration, Commercial Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or related field
  • 8-12 years of solution selling, long sales cycles and closing opportunities
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence decisions and drive results through internal partnerships
  • Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations
  • Experience working with and deciphering multiple types of RFP models
  • Exercises a high degree of maturity, discretion, and integrity
  • Leader with strong persuasion skills and ability to influence teams
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels on the business
  • Strong project management, strategic thinking, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, presentation skills, and boardroom presence skills
  • Strong economic, financial, and quantitative problem solving skills
  • Superior understanding of business concepts and the ability to creatively apply these to varying client needs
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and presentation software including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills; able to balance multiple priorities and projects
